形態特徵

• Rhizomes creeping, scaly; scales ovate-subtriangulan, hairy on margins.
• Fronds pinnate, 1-2 mm apart, buds producing long secondary fronds common in the axils of the pinnae; stipes 30-60 cm long; laminae of 2 kinds, one with a stalked terminal pinna, the other growing indefinitely with small lateral pinnae; pinnae almost sessile except for the terminal one, the lower distant, up to 20 cm long and 2 cm wide, the upper more closely placed and smaller, 4-9 cm long, 1-1.5 cm wide, truncate to cordate at base, acuminate at apex, the margins lobed up to 1/4 of the distance to the costa; texture thin but firm, usually glabrous; costae with short hairs on upper side, bearing a few small peltate ciliate scales on underside; veinlets 7-8 pairs, close, 4-6 pairs uniting alternately to form an intermediate excurrent vein.
• Sori oblong or elongate along conjugated veinlets, exindusiate but with capitate orange paraphyses.

• 台灣 : Growing in lowlands, mostly along ditches and in shady wet places.
• 世界 : the tropical and subtropical regions of the Old World.
